Our Story
Our founder, Ms. Jie Ying, is born into a family with a strong arts influence, where her father, Mr. Liew, is a professional artist. She embarked on a teaching career in 2008, while completing a Diploma with Distinction and Bachelors in Music Performance with First Class Honours at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). After completing her Masters studies with Distinction abroad, she returned to Singapore and began working as a full time music educator. Fast forward twelve years later, together with her team of passionate music lovers and educators, Musik Artz Studio was created in 2020.

Our dedication and commitment to high quality, individualized teaching style has helped hundreds of students with 100% passing rate, with most scoring a Merit or Distinction in ABRSM, Trinity Graded and Diploma Examinations.

Vision
To discover student's potential and transform them, as well as to help them love and enjoy music.
Philosophy
We strongly believe a well rounded education and exposure to diverse artistic elements are very important in a student's journey in music and art. Students will learn a wide range of repertoire and composers during their individual lessons, in addition to their examination pieces. They will also learn to sight read and acquire rudimentary singing skills which are fundamental to learning music.
Sometimes, this journey can become mundane as day-to-day practise is largely a solo endeavour. With our own studio hall, we are able to incorporate opportunities for our students to interact with other fellow peers through half yearly performance classes, elective programmes such as collaborative playing, masterclasses, recitals by professionals, and other music related events etc.
We teach music history and appreciation, theory, as well as music skills such as aural and other music related topics to strengthen students' music foundation and understanding through our semi-annual Group Classes.
Our warm, welcoming, and individually tailored teaching style will encourage our students not only to enjoy music lessons but also to have an appreciation for music for a lifetime.
