Many students faced nervousness and stress especially when it comes to performing. It is very normal to feel nervous and butterflies in your stomach.
Here are some tips which might help you overcome performance anxiety:
1) Be prepared. Practise and aim for 120% ready so that when you drop, you still have 100%
2) Focus on the positive. Tell yourself you can do it instead of what could go wrong
3) Eat a banana before performance. Bananas help you relax.
4) Take deep breaths
5) Shift the focus from yourself and your fear to enjoy the music. Close your eyes and indulge in the music
